“They are business executives. Political movers and shakers. Sports icons. Media moguls. They’re the most prominent women who are redefining womanhood in 21st-century America…From Sarah Pali to Oprah Winfrey to Kathy Ireland to Suzy Welch to Ivanka Trump, these women share several traits: They’re smart, independent, successful, and they’re shaping feminism today — even if it means being a mom and raising kids!” — Newsmax article,  “Sarah Palin and the Leaders of the Newer Feminism”

In case the writers of that article missed it, the real women leaders of America today, with the exception of Sarah Palin are not in the list Newsmax has hyped.  The real feminist leaders “redefining womanhood in 21st-century America” are the women busy organizing and supporting the efforts of the tea parties to keep safe our country.  These are the women who have not forgotten what happened to Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin during the 2008 presidential election, where in the real world the forgotten man turned out to be a woman.

America’s mainstream feminists are not going to forget how the LSM treated Hillary Clinton, nor are not going to forget how the LSM savaged Sarah Palin and her children.  And they are not going to forget how the LSM ridiculed Carrie Prejean, pounding her with its anti-mainstay family agenda, while many women today struggle to hold their families together in an economic climate made up of hopeful strawpaper.  NopeWe will not forget what the media did to political hopefuls who happened to be women, and the ruin of our economy by socialist Democrats out to run this nation into the ground.

So here’s an invitation to the sewer rats of the LSM that work for Soros, the Girls of Alaska, and the DNC drones who have littered the Internet with miles and miles of nasty remarks about Palin:  meet the millions of women of the tea parties who are organizing to get out the vote, and who will be rallying round our flag and our country during the elections of 2010.  Because when momma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.

And last I checked, women have been business executives, political movers, sports and media leaders — since forever!  Nope, the “feminism shaping” today is not about burning our underwear, walking around topless, or buying into NOW’s latest out-of-touch vision of what we are supposed to be at all.  It’s about realizing that women have been quietly contributing without fanfare to the needs of their families, their country and their jobs every day.  And if we need some feminist organization or media hype artist defining our heroines, or our new place in today’s society, we’ll let you know.

God Bless America!

Looking back over the bitter political moonscape of 2008 followed by a stand-out book tour of 2009, we are now entering the breach of 2010, where Governor Palin’s speaking venues are fast filling up with the high-profile names of the Right: Liz Cheney, Fred Thompson, Michele Bachmann, Laura Bush, Tim Pawlenty, et al.

Karl Rove now offers her his advice to “Get Ready”, and Mitt Romney tenders grudging respect with ‘yes, she’s presidential caliber’ — oops, did I say “caliber”? What a long way you’ve come baby. Meanwhile, the targeting from the Left continues on unabated, (only just recently they’ve posted instructions to their minions to invade the Tea Parties, who seem loaded with a lot of granny-aged protestors, so this is going to get interesting?), as they pick through mostly garbage for anything, anything to throw at the majority Right.

One wonders why some of her supporters now turn their backs on her as she is “making too much money”, and ‘gone mainstream’ politically. Would they say the same of Mitt Romney, or Ron Paul? I doubt it.

But Ron Paul is not narrating a TV series on Americans at their best, not narrating a TV series about the beauty and wonders of the Last Frontier, not written the top non-fiction bestseller of 2009, not firing back on his Face Book against the leftist steamroll, and not tending to America’s desperate need right now to stay strong and confident about our future.

Americans feel cast adrift upon this the most ominous and tumultuous economic times for our baby-boomer generation, and who is our Captain? I’ll take Governor Palin any day over anything the Left has, ever.

Thank you Michele.  And thank you to the over 4,000 patriots who showed up in our name in Washingtion DC today.

American MajorityNow that Sarah Palin has kicked off the Tea Party for 2010 via her February speech at the Tea Party Convention in Nashville, and the CPAC speeches are done, it’s time to get organized!

In that vein, RedState announced today that it is teaming up with American Majority and Smart Girl Politics for some post-party summits.

“…At a time when Americans are losing their allegiance to political parties for the sake of parties, we’re focusing more and more on ideas and ideals.”, Erick Erickson stated.   This is exactly what Sarah Palin has said time and again:  to pledge our allegiance not to the cult of personalities, but to ideas.  Palin herself has refrained from presenting herself as the leader of the Tea Party.

To move forward we need to focus not only on ideas but we need also be in learning mode.  How long has it been since we have paid attention to our civic duty, voting and jury duty aside?  To paraphrase Erickson, ‘It is not enough to stand on the sideline, it is not enough to protest.  We each of us, must invest our time in learning how to implement freedom and liberty on the ground in our own communities.  As the alarm coming from America’s heartland breeches “red alert”, it is fast becoming our civic duty to respond to the ever-increasing, ever encroaching socialist agenda being driven down our throats from Washington DC.

We as conservatives, moderates, independents — anyone who takes umbrage with the Washington agenda that is a threat to our freedom — can successfully train and work together to retake our communities and lead them forward with principles of limited government, individual freedom and the free market.  This won’t happen by itself.  As important as the brownie and the scouting and all the other over scheduled places we need to be, at this moment of our lives we need to put time aside for becoming actively involved in the process of reclaiming our communities, our schools and our government.

American Majority is gearing up with training dates and locations where you may register for an event in your region. These training events are beginning or in the planning stages across America. If you have any questions about the training offered, the organizations behind the events, or other questions please contact the American Majority team.

The ground wave rolling forth across this great land that began as the Tea Parties of 2009 has moved onto the next stage.  It may seem as if the tea parties movement has withered and dispersed but no, we are now going  about the business of learning how to effectively regain our beloved America.  We are now at the place on the tarmac where we team up, collaborate, and work together to win the race.

McCain Palin Campaign of 2008Today, on Big Government, Joe ‘the Plumber” Wurzelbacher retraced a few remarks he had made that were eagerly picked up by the media, and clarified some of the dissing he had handed out to John McCain and Sarah Palin:

“For those who missed it, I questioned whether Sarah Palin should have supported John McCain in his Arizona Senate race. I said it because I can’t help but think that this honest-to- goodness, true blue American hero has been changed by Washington, D.C. and not for the better. I said that instead of him “making me,” as a reporter asserted, he “ruined my life.” Truthfully I wish I hadn’t said that last part or at least had the chance to fully explain it because it’s not at all the “rest of the story.”

So let me set the record straight: I broke Ronald Reagan’s “11th commandment” not to criticize fellow conservatives in public and the liberal mainstream media has had a field day with it. I regret that. I wish I had said it to his face and privately. I do honestly believe that John McCain’s service to our country as a courageous naval aviator and POW rightfully earned him nothing but respect. He has represented the epitome of honor, duty and unimaginable sacrifice. And for the record, he didn’t ruin my life. He and Barrack Obama sent me down a far different path than the one I was happily on–a new path that made me famous, notorious, sought after and vilified. I have learned that all those good and bad things happen when you are thrust into the public eye. Like almost anyone else, I have loved the good and hated the bad.

Also for the record, I like Sarah Palin because although she has served as an elected official as Governor of Alaska, she still acts and speaks like any real person you meet who is worried about the country, the kids and our future. It has always seemed to me that she has a lot of good things to add to our national discussion and that her value does not have to come down to–as the liberal media has tried–whether she should be our next President. Is that the new test of a person’s worth and whether they can add important views on patriotism, faith and family and the role of the citizen? She might make a very good President but that is not the test of her worth. That false test, the subject of various recent polls, is designed by the elitists who have almost ruined our country to chase people off what they believe is their territory.” […]

Thank you, Joe.  For a moment there I thought we’d lost your much needed voice of grassroots, tell-it-like-it-is patriotism in America.

Joe 'The Plumber' Wurzelbacher Once again Joe 'the Plumber' Wurzelbacher steps forward and asks the political elitists some questions for America, like 'why do you keep wasting our tax money on fools errands?'

You Don’t Need a Washington Task Force to Understand the Middle Class

by Joe ‘The Plumber’ Wurzelbacher , as posted on Big Government, February 1 , 2010

It was kind of hard to stop laughing when I read that Joe Biden is leading a Task Force to study what’s on the mind of middle class Americans. Give me a break.

It would be funny if it were not so sad that those in Washington need a special commission to figure out what America thinks. How can we be represented in the first place if the people we hired to carry our hopes and fears are so clueless?

Here’s my suggestion Mr. Biden—take a trip to any town or city and sit down for an early breakfast in a coffee shop. Stop talking long enough to listen. Try a barber or beauty shop for the same lesson. Have a beer in a tavern. The key here, Mr. Biden—and all you folks from Washington, D.C. who have become so frightened that people are expressing their independent will at the polls—is to stop pontificating long enough to actually hear what we are saying.”

House GOP Leadership

What is it about Governor Palin that she can get the word out on a simple Face Book “Notes” post, yet the entire GOP seems to struggle with getting its message out to the voters via its myriad websites and the wealth of its coffers at hand?  In posting the link to the GOP response, Gov. Palin is simply calling the bluff of the nincompoops in Washington (yep, Alinksky Tactic yada #12345: “force them to live by their own rules“).

Hopefully the American people will visit the link she provided to see for themselves. We the voters must call Washington’s bluff at every opportunity, for as long as it takes the disingenuous anti-Constitutionalists currently running this country into the ground to realize that we are not going away simply because they give a speech. Perhaps her leadership and honesty, qualities sorely lacking today not only in the media and the Congress, but particularly from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue are what does the trick?

As posted by Sarah Palin on her FaceBook “Notes“, January 29, 2010

On Wednesday night, the president asked us to “let him know” if we had any better ideas, and today John Boehner handed him a compilation of the policy alternatives that have been advanced over the past year. These are ideas that deserve to be considered to turn down the volume on the rhetoric and use common sense. Please take a look at

You can read the compilation of policy alternatives, called “Better Solutions,” here.   – Sarah Palin

While reading the GOP “Better Solutions”, I felt as though I had stepped back into a time when Washington at least gave the appearance it had the taxpayers interests at heart in the wording, especially as I came across this nugget:

“Increasing Retirement Income by Reducing the Social Security Earnings Penalty.
Many Americans continue working into their mid-60s – out of financial necessity or as personal preference. Choosing to work and claim Social Security benefits before full retirement age, however, can result in losing $1 of benefits for every $2 of earnings in excess of $14,160 this year. Given the decline in value of other retirement savings as a result of the market, more workers who have not yet reached full retirement age need to increase their income now. Therefore, the Savings Recovery Act would double the Social Security earnings limit from $14,160 to $28,320 and allow more Americans to increase their income without being hit by the earnings penalty.”

“The government has now confirmed what has always been clear: no one tried to wiretap or bug Senator Landrieu’s office. Nor did we try to cut or shut down her phone lines. Reports to this effect over the past 48 hours are inaccurate and false.

As an investigative journalist, my goal is to expose corruption and lack of concern for citizens by government and other institutions, as I did last year when our investigations revealed the massive corruption and fraud perpetuated by ACORN. For decades, investigative journalists have used a variety of tactics to try to dig out and reveal the truth.

I learned from a number of sources that many of Senator Landrieu’s constituents were having trouble getting through to her office to tell her that they didn’t want her taking millions of federal dollars in exchange for her vote on the healthcare bill. When asked about this, Senator Landrieu’s explanation was that, “Our lines have been jammed for weeks.” I decided to investigate why a representative of the people would be out of touch with her constituents for “weeks” because her phones were broken. In investigating this matter, we decided to visit Senator Landrieu’s district office – the people’s office – to ask the staff if their phones were working.

On reflection, I could have used a different approach to this investigation, particularly given the sensitivities that people understandably have about security in a federal building. The sole intent of our investigation was to determine whether or not Senator Landrieu was purposely trying to avoid constituents who were calling to register their views to her as their Senator. We video taped the entire visit, the government has those tapes, and I’m eager for them to be released because they refute the false claims being repeated by much of the mainstream media.

It has been amazing to witness the journalistic malpractice committed by many of the organizations covering this story. MSNBC falsely claimed that I violated a non-existent “gag order.” The Associated Press incorrectly reported that I “broke in” to an office which is open to the public. The Washington Post has now had to print corrections in two stories on me. And these are just a few examples of inaccurate and false reporting. The public will judge whether reporters who can’t get their facts straight have the credibility to question my integrity as a journalist.

Diversity Lane: "You’re A Grand Old ..?"

We welcomed the voice of America’s Joe ‘The Plumber’ Wurzelbacher  as he returned the other day on American Thinker.  In his article, “Explaining the Tea Party Movement and the Bewilderment of the Political Class”, Joe carefully explains for the deaf and gonna be dumped Washington Elect just who is the political class called ‘Tea Party Activists’:  why I do believe it’s the American People just like Joe ‘splained.

“Can a plumber or carpenter, housewife or truck driver (clutching their bibles and guns as Mr. Obama once sneered) have anything much to add to the public policies developed at the seats of government and financial power? To those of us “out here” the righteously indignant answer is “yes”–and not a moment too soon.” – Joe Wurzelbacher

Can Spring be far behind?  Our thoughts now turn to the political landscape in Washington.  Thankfully, a much-needed almanac hit the shelves last winter for us old-time American political farmers to prosper by (Going Rogue: An American Tale).   It has much-needed helpful hints to guide our path by the stars above for what needs tending to down below.

The Old Farmer’s Almanac might have forecast something like this for producing this year’s bumper crop of Tea Party candidates:   We have for so long left our country in the hands of politicians who have driven us to the brink of ruin, we now must reap what we have sown:  quack grass politicians, insidious weeds, whose roots run long and deep on nefarious runners.  Entirely a pernicious weed, pushing the sweet timothy and clover aside as it swallows up our granaries.  The government now is even attempting to control our water, claiming water rights are “a privilege”, granted by some bureaucrat?

We must be more mindful of our how our political fields prosper (or not) as we head back to our victory gardens this spring.  We must be about our business of digging out the weeds that choke our country’s economic future, and planting new seed in fields ripe for harvest in 2010.

While almost every Tea Party Patriot has their “ayes” set for Scott Brown, their attention focused on the current Senate race in Massachusetts, across America voters of every state are showing similar muscle in forming a strong resistance to the current insanity that passes for legislation these days in Washington.  Not only are the Tea Party activists alive and well, but the rallying points flame hotter than ever as the incumbancy and arrogance of the Socialist Democrats continues to threaten our country’s future.  The themes of the Tea Party movement that erupted into a walking groundswell in 2009 are back with busloads of reinforcements in 2010.

“Tea Party rally targets incumbents, government spending”

Published 01/14/10

Hundreds of conservative Tea Party activists swooped into Annapolis last night on the first day of the 2010 legislative session, ostensibly to protest Maryland’s economic woes and incumbent politicians’ efforts to solve them.

Photo by Paul W. Gillespie of The Capital Gazette —  Hundreds of people crammed into Lawyers Mall last night to protest on a broad range of conservative issues. Busloads of people came from around the state to join the crowd.

But speakers at the rally that packed Lawyers Mall mentioned the economy just briefly. Many went to the podium to hit on other conservative hot-button issues like gerrymandering, illegal immigration, “government” health care, preserving the 10th Amendment, and cap-and-trade legislation.
