According to Politco, Claire McCaskill (D-MO) recently spoke of the Democrat’s agenda as moving “too far, too fast”. The Politico reported:
McCaskill said Wednesday morning that the agenda is moving “going too far, too fast” and that it would be a “huge mistake” for Democrats to force a vote on a new bill in the Senate before the new senator from Massachusetts is seated.
“As I said to somebody last night:, everybody needs to get the Washington wax out of their ears and listen and pay attention that people out there believe that we are going too far, too fast,” McCaskill told POLITICO.
At the same time, however, McCaskill defended the administration’s approach, saying the president inherited an economic recession that he couldn’t resolve with “little itty-bitty baby steps.”
Put it another way the Democrats are saying: “we inherited an economic recession from Bush, which allows us, the political élite in Washington to ramrod through Congress any socialist legislation we can dream up to resolve it, and the people be damned”. This is at best ludicrous, yet the Democrat’s trundle out this speech tic in every presser: reveal the nanny statism agenda followed by ‘bash Bush’ as proof to proceed.
If a syphocant like McCaskill understands and openly confirms Washington’s real agenda, why does the “Main Stream Media” have such a tough time presenting the truth to its viewership? Apparently the voters in Massachusetts got it and voted on January 19, 2010 in large enough numbers to deal with it.
PeeEss. The recession left by George Bush and the Congress amounted to 4.5% unemployment and a debt level over eight years of approximately $10 trillion. In one year we are seeing unemployment at 11% and a debt level now approaching $12 trillion — in just 12 months! This is not sustainable.
